Carlos Jiménez Mabarak

La Fonoteca Nacional rinde un homenaje sonoro al extraordinario músico mexicano Carlos Jiménez Mabarak en el centenario de su nacimiento. Este compositor, quien fuera alumno de Silvestre Revueltas y Premio Nacional de Ciencias y Artes de 1993, es autor de un gran número de obras para diversos géneros: orquesta, coro, piano, ópera, ballet, cine y teatro. Te invitamos a escuchar su Fanfarria olímpica, que fue la música oficial de las premiaciones durante los Juegos Olímpicos de 1968 en la Ciudad de México, y que sin duda es de las más recordadas y gustadas en la historia de las olimpiadas.
