Antonio Machín

Se cumplen 39 años de la muerte del cantante cubano de boleros y música popular Antonio Machín, a quien se le conoce como uno de los precursores del bolero romántico, de la música mestiza, latina y afrocubana. Fue de los primeros cantantes cubanos que alcanzaron fama mundial, pero es en España en donde se consolida su consagración.

Nuestro audio del día lo recuerda con una de las canciones que le dieron gran éxito: "Dos gardenias", compuesta por la destacada compositora y cantante de música popular cubana Isolina Carrillo.
