Tina Modotti

En esta ocasión celebramos los 120 años del nacimiento de la artista y activista social italiana Tina Modotti, una de las grandes precursoras de la fotografía del siglo XX. En su obra buscó plasmar su visión social de México sin apartar el arte, resaltando aspectos y sucesos de la vida cotidiana como personas, objetos y detalles arquitectónicos.

Te invitamos a escuchar este programa de Radio UNAM dedicado a Tina Modotti en el que, Margarita Castillo, Juan Stack y Patricia Vega dan una breve biografía de la artista, además de destacar su actividad política que se manifiesta a lo largo de su obra.
