Macedonio Alcalá

En esta ocasión dedicamos el audio del día a uno de los referentes indiscutibles de la música de nuestro país: Macedonio Alcalá, a 185 años de su nacimiento.

Alcalá, quien impulsó la creación de diversas orquestas en su corta carrera, forma parte de la historia musical oaxaqueña por piezas como “Dios nunca muere”, convertido ya en un himno para todos los oaxaqueños. Te invitamos a realizar un recorrido sonoro por la música de Oaxaca para comprender el contexto de Alcalá, así como la variedad musical de esta región, con este programa conducido por Xiomara Tamayo y Alfonso Aranda.
