Caída del Muro de Berlín

“La antigua frontera oriental ya no existe, ahora tenemos una nueva frontera, una nueva reunificación”, fueron las palabras del ex canciller alemán Willy Brandt cuando anunció la desaparición del Muro de Berlín la noche del 9 de noviembre de 1989.

En nuestro audio del día te invitamos a conmemorar este hecho, en el que el pueblo berlinés tomó mazos, picos y martillos y comenzó a derrumbar el muro. Dos días después, todavía cuando la gente seguía demoliendo el muro, las notas del violonchelo de Mstislav Rostropóvich resonaron para celebrar esa caída.
