Gildardo Mojica

Nuestro audio del día está dedicado al reconocido flautista jalisciense Gildardo Mojica Rubio, quien murió un día como hoy, pero de 1992.

Desde los catorce años comenzó a tocar la flauta y realizó estudios de este instrumento en el Conservatorio Nacional de Música y en la Manhattan School of Music de Nueva York. Fue solista de la Orquesta Nacional del Carnegie Hall y poco tiempo después consiguió el puesto de flautista principal en la Orquesta Sinfónica de Minneapolis.

Te invitamos a escuchar el tercer movimiento de la Trío sonata en do mayor de Johann Joachim Quantz, en la interpretación de Gildardo Mojica (flauta), acompañado por Gys de Graaf (oboe), Sally van den Berg (violonchelo) y Juan Bosco Correro (clavecín) en el Templo de San Francisco Javier, actual Museo Nacional del Virreinato.
