Himno Nacional Mexicano

El 12 de agosto de 1854, la composición conformada por la música de Jaime Nunó y la letra de Francisco González Bocanegra se declaró ganadora en el concurso que dio a México su Himno Nacional y cuyo estreno se realizaría el 15 de septiembre de ese mismo año.

En celebración de ese 160 aniversario, la Fonoteca Nacional los invita a escuchar la versión grabada más antigua que posee nuestra institución: la realizada por el barítono español Emilio de Gogorza, editada en Estados Unidos en 1901 por la Victor Talking Machine Co. (Colección Armando Pous)
