La Fonoteca Nacional rinde un homenaje sonoro al músico y compositor mexicano Higinio Ruvalcaba, figura legendaria del violín quien por su talento ha sido el único mexicano reconocido como primer violín en el Cuarteto Lener.

Disfruta su interpretación de la pieza “Danza gitana”, acompañado por su esposa Carmela Castillo al piano, grabada en el Teatro Degollado de Guadalajara, Jalisco, en 1958.
