Valentín Gómez Farías

Un día como hoy, pero de 1781, nació el político mexicano Valentín Gómez Farías, quien estableció la Escuela de Ciencias Médicas, que se convertiría en la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Autónoma de México. Te compartimos un fragmento del homenaje que la UNAM le realizó en 1981, en el que el ex-rector Octavio Rivero Serrano habla sobre su ideología liberal y sus alcances políticos.
