Teresa Carreño

Un día como hoy, pero de 1917, murió la venezolana María Teresa Carreño, una de las compositoras y pianistas más destacadas de América Latina del siglo XIX.

Como un homenaje sonoro, nuestro audio del día te comparte su vals La primavera, una de las piezas para piano que compuso en Francia, y que en esta ocasión interpretara la pianista mexicana Silvia Navarrete en noviembre de 1995 durante una presentación en la Sala Blas Galindo del Centro Nacional de las Artes.
