Álvaro Carrillo

En el aniversario número 97 del nacimiento del compositor y músico oaxaqueño Álvaro Carrillo (1919-1969), te invitamos a recordarlo en nuestro audio del día.

Conocido como el Cancionero de San Juan Cacahuatepec, es autor de alrededor de 500 piezas de diversos géneros, como el bolero, la chilena, el paso doble y el vals, entre otros. Sus canciones han sido interpretadas por numerosos y destacados artistas, como Carlos Madrigal, Javier Solís, María Victoria, José José, Los Panchos, Chavela Vargas, Tania Libertad, Luis Miguel y Lila Downs.

Te compartimos un programa radiofónico conducido por Antonio Arias en el que se realiza un esbozo biográfico de Carrillo, acompañado por grandes interpretaciones de sus canciones, como Sabrá Dios, Sabor a mí, Luz de luna, entre otras.
