Nuestro audio del día celebra los 72 años del músico y compositor jamaiquino Robert Nesta Marley, mejor conocido como Bob Marley.

El llamado Padre del Reggae, uno de los grandes representantes de la cultura rastafari, formó su primer grupo en 1961, The Rudeboys, conocido luego como The Wailers. Su música se caracterizó por mezclar rock, rhythm and blues, soul, ska y y rocksteady.

Te invitamos a escucharlo interpretar “Stop the train”, acompañado por el grupo The Wailers. Esta canción, compuesta por Peter Tosh, forma parte del disco Rasta, editado por el sello "Saludos Amigos" en 2001.
