Hace 43 años murió José López Alavez, destacado músico y compositor, quien además contribuyó a difundir el sistema del Sonido 13.

Compuso muchas canciones, pero Canción mixteca es su obra más conocida, pues se dice que en ella se encuentra la ocasión de añorar a la patria.

Precisamente te proponemos escuchar esta canción en la interpretación de Hugo Avendaño. Esta grabación se encuentra en el programa 373 de la serie Tesoros W, producida y transmitida por Televisa Radio en 1986.
